Children's Ministries
Through our children's programs and by supporting parents we work to develop mature followers of Christ who will become a powerful influence in the world.
Children's Ministy Mission Statement
"We are commanded by God to teach children Biblical truths. We share the truth of God's grace and love, guiding them toward faith in Jesus, and equipping them in their daily walk."
Nursery
Bethesda offers a nursery for children from newborn up to age 3 with caring workers who watch after and teach the youngest members of our church family. Both our infant nursery and our toddler rooms are available during services and many special events.
We also have a room for mothers who would like a private place to nurse or parents who want to keep babies with them and still hear the service.
Sunday Programs
During Sunday School children learn Truths about faith in God and how to apply these truths in their life by providing meaningful activities, great discussions, and personal challenges. Classes are available for 1st through 6th Grade.
Children's Church, for ages 3 through grade 2, meets during our 10:30 am worship service. The kids worship with their families, then are dismissed before the sermon to learn Biblical truths that apply to their daily lives.
AWANA
Through our AWANA program, Bethesda Church and parents work together to develop a strong spiritual foundation in children and encourage them to faithfully follow Jesus Christ in their everyday lives. They are encouraged, through verse memorization and lessons from scripture, to hide God's Word in their hearts.
V.B.S.
Through music, games, crafts, and Bible lessons they learn about God's plan for their lives.
Our VBS is August 7-11, 2023!
VBS is offered for kids age 3 (must be potty trained) up to 6th grade (going into). We welcome older kids to join us as volunteers though!
